Lesotho is a country of volcanic plateaux, an enclave totally
surrounded by South Africa. There are 4 peaks at more than 3,000m (
Mount Thabana Ntlenyama peaks at 3,482 m) and this country is
considered a real water tower for South Africa.
The dry season is from June to August when temperatures are around
0°C. It is therefore not rare to see the mountains covered with
snow.
There is no malaria in the Kingdom of
Lesotho.
